The rivet nuts are a type of threaded insert intended to fasten panels upon structural substrates with small thickness and metallic nature. Nowadays, the use has extended for more thickness and other material substrates.
Rivet bolts are based on the same technology as the rivet nuts, but the installation in the substrate is a bolt, not a nut. It is ideal to place bulky panels and to facilitate positioning. There are variety of configurations and materials.
